Choose the effect first, then match the profile to the exact ERYONE formulation.

Understanding the range
ERYONE offers standard silk and multicolor varieties, including triple-color and rainbow products. These names describe different effects, not interchangeable versions of the same spool. Some lines also carry high-speed or other formulation labels; read the full product name when selecting a profile.
For a simple sculptural finish, consider a solid silk color. For changing views around a model, investigate coextruded dual- or triple-color products. For transitions as material is consumed, look at rainbow filament. This is a design choice before it is a brand comparison.
Check the label before printing
The standard ERYONE Silk PLA page reviewed for this guide lists 190–220°C as a printing range. Do not automatically transfer it to every ERYONE silk product. Use the current product-specific instructions and your printer’s limits.
Print a small sample before a long decorative model. Inspect the front, sides, and back under the same light. For multicolor filament, this also reveals how the effect behaves in your feed path and chosen orientation.
Rainbow: pay attention to transition length
ERYONE’s metallic rainbow descriptions illustrate why “rainbow” alone is insufficient: different named variants have different advertised change lengths. Compare the exact variant instead of assuming every rainbow roll changes at the same interval.
A smaller model may use only part of a transition. Before buying, inspect the model’s estimated material consumption and the listing’s description. A photo of a tall vase is not a reliable preview of a tiny ornament.
Triple-color: check the strand, not the bundle
A triple-color coextruded product puts the colors within a single strand. Verify that the selected listing actually describes this construction. A three-roll bundle or a sequential rainbow is a different purchase, even if all use similar color names.
Contrast between colors can matter as much as the number of colors. If you want a dramatic rotating effect, examine listing photographs taken from multiple viewpoints rather than judging from a single front view.
Before you order
- Confirm diameter and net roll weight.
- Check the exact formulation and selected color variant.
- Look for the intended color mechanism in the description.
- Read product-specific temperature guidance.
